Internship at Four and Five Stars Hotels in Bali


There are two types of assignments available for Guest Relation Officer (GRO). They are operational assignments and research assignments.

For operational assignments as GRO, interns will need to complete the following tasks:
1. Study the current guest relations system.
2. Build and maintain good relationships with the hotels customers specially for VIP’s and long stay customers.
3. The intern is allowed to conduct research on one or more of the following areas of expertise: customer satisfaction, hotel service excellence, hotel competitor analyses. The goal of the first two research points is to describe whether or not the hotel services have been delivered to the customer and to find out what the customers experience is on how well the services have been delivered.

For research assignments as GRO, interns will need to complete the following tasks:
The intern can use a SWOT analyzes for his or her research. The outcome of the SWOT analyses can be used to create a new GRO manual to bridge the hotel services to meet customers’ needs. Besides GRO opportunities there are also opportunities to gain working experience in Food & Beverages or work as waiter in a hotels restaurant.
